Gladwin County Emergency Management and Billings Township will be opening a cooling center at the Billings Township Hall, 1050 Estey Road this Wednesday June 15, 2022 from noon to 6PM.

Important Flood Insurance Information for Gladwin County residents and all properties & organizations

Good morning, and Happy Spring!!

I have received multiple inquiries regarding flood insurance information. The best way to find out about flood insurance is to go to the website for FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) at fema.gov/flood-insurance. This site contains valuable information for you regarding floods, insurance and related items.

Now is the time to find out what insurance may be available for you. Remember, a flood DOES NOT MEAN that state or federal funds will become available. Protection and recovery from floods begins with you!
